ISO/IEC 24727 Interop

ISO/IEC 24722 defines a range of standards for interaction with smartcards and other security devices.

It is a new standard and as yet has limited industry adoption to date. Those vendors who have announced ISO/IEC 24727 support are listed below: ISO/IEC 24727 supports a range of base services and a range of stack models and it is essential to understand what approach a given vendor is taking in order to determine whether or not interoperability will be possible.

Client

Testing of a client-side implementation.

The Cryptsoft ISO/IEC 247272 SDK Client supports interaction with an ICC-Resident stack model along with the TMR-specified security protocols.

The Cryptsoft ISO/IEC 247272 SDK Client has completed successful interop testing with the TMR NQDL implementation (for the subset of the specification necessary for a card holder to provide a PIN to release the data from the smartcard) TMR. The SDK provides a C-based API and also a C-sharp interface for use in a DotNET environment.

Protocol

Testing of a protocol-level implementation.

The Cryptsoft ISO/IEC 24727 SDK contains a full set of protocol parsing and processing routines and sample applications.
The SDK includes support for using OpenSSL to provide all host-resident cryptographic services.

Training

Training for ISO/IEC 24727 development and deployment.

Cryptsoft have practical implementation experience with ISO/IEC 24727 and can guide you through the complexities of the standard.
